On Saturday, February 24th, a team of nearly 20 volunteer builders created almost 1200 square feet of industrial shelving space and six volunteer work stations for our Donation Processing Center.
Processing Center volunteers are overjoyed with their new space. The expanded work area increases capacity and makes it easier to sort and organize. In addition, our City Task Force members don’t have to squeeze in between stacks of totes anymore. Take a look at the before and after photos or better yet, stop by and see for yourself!
Thank you to the 19 volunteer builders who came for our shelf work day. You helped make our Donation Processing Center dreams become a reality which will allow us to better meet needs and serve people.
